Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some frequently asked questions, to help answer any questions you may have about our Gold Coast accommodation.

If you don’t see your answer here, please give us a call. We will happily discuss any questions you may have and assist you with any special booking requests.

What is the difference between the different 2 bedroom apartment types?

2 bedroom city view apartments are located on the western end of the building & have great views of the city.

2 bedroom ocean view apartments are located on the northern side of the building – while they do not face the ocean, they have great ocean views.

2 bedroom beachfront apartments are located at the eastern side of the building. These apartments have direct unobstructed views of the beach and ocean.

2 bedroom beachfront superior apartments are the same as the beachfront apartment, but you are guaranteed to be on a high floor.

Do the one-bedroom apartments have any ocean views?

The one-bedroom apartments are south facing and have stunning city views facing Broadbeach.  You do have partial ocean views from the balcony only.

Can you request/guarantee a certain room number or floor number?

When booking directly with Breakers North, you are more than welcome to put a request for a room number or floor number.  We are unable to guarantee this, but will do our absolute best to accommodate your certain request.

Is there parking at the property?
Yes, there is one secure underground car park space per apartment booked.
Is there parking at the property?

Unfortunately, we do not have extra car spaces available, but you are welcome to park on the street.

What is the height of your carpark?
2.05M
Is linen provided?

Yes, sheets, towels, pillow cases, bath mats, hand towels and a tea towel are provided. You can also hire extra linen or beach towels from reception at an extra cost.

What amenities do you supply in the apartment?

There is a starter pack in your apartment on arrival, designed to get you through your first day. This includes: a small amount of tea, coffee, sugar, milk, Toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, soap, laundry liquid and dishwashing powder. Extra items can be purchased from reception or your local supermarket.

How far is the bus stop?

The local bus stops right out the front of Breakers North.

How far are you from the tram?

The closest tram stop is ‘Florida Gardens’, and it is 500m from Breakers North.

Is the pool heated?

Yes, our outdoor pool is heated all year round the temperature ranges between 25°C – 28°C depending on the outside temp.

Do you book airport transfers?
Yes, have an onsite tour desk that can help you with transfers, theme park tickets and anything else you would like to do whilst staying with us.
How far are you from the local shops?

We are 300 meters from the local “SPAR” supermarket, otherwise, Woolworths is located in the Oasis Shopping Centre roughly 1.8km (15-20 min walk).

What do we do if we are checking in out of office hours?

Please contact us prior to your arrival to arrange access to our afterhours key safe.

How far is the Star Casino?

We are located 2.1km from the casino, about 20- 25 mins walk

How far is Pacific Fair Shopping centre?

We are 2.5km from Pacific Fair, roughly a 30-minute walk.

How far is Surfers Paradise?

We are located 1.8km from Cavill Avenue, the centre of Surfers Paradise about a 20-minute walk.

Do you have to book the tennis court?

Yes, the tennis court booking sheet is located at reception and the court is free to use.

Do you hire tennis rackets and balls?

Yes, we do. $5 per racket per 24-hour period. This includes tennis balls also.

Is the Wi-Fi free of charge?
Each apartment receives 5GB per day free of charge. The 5GB resets on a daily basis at 1am every day. There is an option to purchase extra if you wish.
Can we hire boogie boards?

Yes, we hire out boogie boards for guest use. The charge is $5 per board, per day.

Do you supply pool towels?

No, but you are welcome to hire them from us during your stay for $5 per towel, per stay.

Do you hire out porta cots and high chairs?

Yes, we can organise this for you during your stay. Each item is $10 per day to hire.

Can we have extra guests in the apartment?

Yes, extra guests are charged at $25 per night. This charge includes a rollaway bed and linen. Please check with us directly how many guests are allowed in each apartment type

Is there a charge to use the BBQ area and do we have to book?
The BBQ’s and area are free of charge to use and no, you do not need to make a booking. We do ask that you vacate this area by 9pm and that the area is left clean and tidy.
